I wish happy holidays to all!
It is the Islamic feast of sacrifice. Millions of believers are on their pilgrimage to Mekka and Medina and even more animals are ritually slaughtered. I took these pictures yesterday in Casamba Mahallesi, in walking distance to all the touristsic gems of Istanbul.
Warning: some of the photographs are cruel and depict the dying of animals or show large amounts of blood.
